adance reservations and grocery shopping for Kiawah

We will be in a condo in Kiawah for 1 week with our 2 young teens in July. Any suggestions for advance reservations we should make-besides golf? Also I read in the forum about the new ';freshfields village'; is this sufficient for grocery shopping for the week-we will likely eat 2 meals in the condo on most days?

Congrats on your vacation to Kiawah. I think you will enjoy it.

Basically, the Kiawah Market (I think that%26#39;s the name of it) has everything you will need. They have meats, pasta, breakfast foods, as well as some carry t items already cooked. Since I can%26#39;t remember the name, it%26#39;s the market directly next to The Sanctuary hotel.

For site seeing, rent some bikes, the place you will be staying will probably have some sort of magnets or something on the fridge with the #. Rates are good, and they deliver to you.

If you and your family enjoy fine dinning, check out The Jasmine Porch at The Sanctuary hotel. It might be a nice meal for you and your spouse, or you and your teens.

If you hace any other questions, feel free to ask. My wife and I went last October for a week and loved every second of it. It%26#39;s very relaxing (some might say boring) but it%26#39;s well worth it.

Freshfields is a newly opened complex of stores and shops located at the end of Betsy Kerrison Parkway as you turn toward Kiawah Island. They have a large Newton Farms grocery store with a great deli and fresh fruits and vegetables section. There is also a small market in Town Center near the Sanctuary and next door to where you check-in if you are renting from the Resort. If you want to save a little money, you can shop at the Piggly Wiggly at the intersection of Main Road and Maybank Highway.
