Kayaking suggestions?

I just came from San Diego and enjoyed kayaking near the La Jolla sea caves. Can you recommend any beautiful places to kayak in Charleston, or some rental companies?

Kayaking suggestions?

A few years ago I took a kayaking trip that left from the Isle of Palms. It was a two hour trip I think. You leave from the island (unguided) and travel up the intracoastal waterway. It can get a little rough with all the boats. It was a little difficult, but well worth it. You%26#39;ll more than likely have dolphins swimming alongside your kayak! About halfway through the journey, you can stop at Dewees island for a break and bring a picnic lunch if you want. Then, you finish the trip by way of the inlet through Wild Dunes and get a great view of all the big beautiful houses on the water. I%26#39;m not sure who we rented from, but you could probably find someone by searching the net. I%26#39;ve also heard that trips up the Edisto River are beautiful, but they take the better part of a day.
